Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate, licensed professional based in California to serve as President of a newly formed Professional Corporation (PC) that will partner with eLuma to deliver therapy and mental health services to California schools.

This role starts as a 1099-Contractor ~10 hours per week during the entity formation and certification phase. Upon completion of the entity formation and certification phase, this position will become a W2 position of the newly created entity and may grow to ~20 hours per week as we enter service delivery. You will have the option of providing direct therapy and will be responsible for the clinical leadership of the PC.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as President and legal owner of the California-based Professional Corporation (MD/DO, P.C.)
• Partner with eLuma during the formation, state registration, and NPA certification process (first 4–6 months)
• Provide ongoing clinical oversight and support to ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to California regulations
• Attend to key compliance documentation, contracts, and reports
• Collaborate with eLuma’s administrative and operational teams

Estimated Time Commitment

• 10 hours per week during initial formation and NPA certification phase (first ~6 months)
• ~20 hours per week during ongoing operations

Legal Structure & Support

To comply with California corporate practice laws:

• PC will be a separate legal entity, wholly owned by the President
• PC will employ licensed clinicians as W-2 employees
• PC will contract with eLuma, LLC for administrative and back-office support

Requirements

• Active California Licensed Physician (MD,DO) — ideally with experience in behavioral or developmental health
• Resident of California
• Demonstrated ability to provide thoughtful clinical oversight
• Strong interest in expanding access to therapy services in schools through innovative service models
• Previous leadership, compliance, or supervisory experience is a plus
